Beverly Maxvill of The Quilters Patch designs in embroidery, paper-piecing, asian designs, patchwork and applique. She has also authored quilting books and a Crazy Quilt Block of the Month series.
The Quilters Patch, Inc. of St. Clair Shores, Michigan is owned by Beverly Maxvill who opened her store in 1981 and is celebrating 26 years in business. Beverly used her art training to develope quilt designs and her first book was published in 1992, "Victorian Patchwork & Quilting", out of print but copies are available on the net. Beverly developed Crazy Quilt patterns which were a block of the month in the Keepsake Quilting Catalog for two years and are now available through Quilters Warehouse along with patterns of Beverly's designs in embroidery, paper-piecing, asian designs, patchwork and applique. Beverly is currently working on an Asian Sampler pattern series which will debut in September 2008. In addition, Beverly Maxvill will have a new book, "A Year of Paper Piecing" from Martingale & Co., with an August 2008 release date.
